The Medicine of Trailside Plants: Mazamas Base Camp Presentation

  • The Arctos School of Herbal and Botanical Studies Portland, OR (map)

Missy is heading over to the Mazamas to talk about some iconic Pacific Northwest plants! We’ll delve into plant identification tips, provide helpful harvesting hints, and talk about some wonderful native medicinals that hikers, climbers, and forest lovers will find enchanting. Plants that grow commonly on Mt. Hood will be our focus, but much of the flora will be easy to find throughout the Pacific Northwest, from coastal bluffs to urban yards.

This free lecture is part of the Mazamas Base Camp series and it is open to the public. Location and details can be found at mazamas.org.
